The Next Big Adventure

As if life were not crazy enough over here today I embark on the next big adventure… Graduate school. I will be starting my Masters in Counseling Pyschology with a focus on MFT (Marriage Family Therapy) at The University of San Francisco! The program is designed for working adults so I will continue to be a SAHM and spend my days with my beautiful children. I am so happy for this opportunity to be both a grad student and a stay at home mom. I am sure that this new big adventure will bring lots of new things for our family as we learn to balance me being a grad student and a mama. Now to figure out about being a student and a breastfeeding mama so I know when and where to pump!

I am a mama to 5 tiny humans, 2 dogs, 4 cats, an ant farm and various “pet” bugs and worms. My spouse has been unexpectedly diagnosed with heart failure and DSP gene. Our youngest has been experiencing various medical struggles since late in my pregnancy with her. My life is a BeautifulMess. As a parent my days are filled with gentle attachment based parenting, breastfeeding, babywearing, coffee drinking, homeschooling & chaos. I love to learn new things and research topics. I believe we can do better when we know better. I strive to be a great mama and to do things that are the best for my family. I love sharing my experiences and the information I have learned with others, after all we as parents are in this thing called parenthood together.
